Dolazi bivši aranžer Jamesa Browna David Matthews s jazz funk remek-djelom koje pogađa srce glazbenog ukusa NekakoJazza i ulazi u top 10 naše omiljene kolekcije albuma. Sve skladbe skladao je i aranžirao Matthews, zajedno sa svojim svim NewYorker timom stvara zvuk koji je nevjerojatno bogat jazz funkom i latinskim utjecajima. Volimo "Noches Calientes" s nevjerojatnim solo nastupom Davida Spinozze. Bas linija Neila Jasona na "Black River Rhapsody" fantastičan je studijski nastup. Aranžman s tri saksofona i solo nastup Michaela Breckera na "Super Grooveu" su nevjerojatni. Potpuno podcijenjen album koji nema usporedbe. Samo slušaj!

Former James Brown arranger David Matthews arrives with a jazz funk masterpiece that hits the heart of the musical taste of NekakoJazza and enters the top 10 of our favorite album collection. All the songs were composed and arranged by Matthews, together with his whole NewYorker team he creates a sound that is incredibly rich in jazz funk and Latin influences. We love “Noches Calientes” with an amazing solo performance by David Spinozza. Neil Jason’s bass line on “Black River Rhapsody” is a fantastic studio performance. The three-saxophone arrangement and Michael Brecker’s solo performance on “Super Groove” are amazing. A completely underrated album that has no comparison. Just listen!
